Frequently asked questions
Is this PNP eligibility checker free?
Yes. The quick check and your results preview are completely free, with no account or sign-up required. The full detailed report costs a one-time CA$25.
What is the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)?
It's Canada's main economic immigration pathway outside Express Entry. Each province and territory runs its own streams that nominate candidates for permanent residence based on local labour needs — skilled workers, graduates, and people with a job offer or family connection. Quebec runs a separate system and is not part of the PNP.
Do I need to know my NOC code to get checked?
No. Your job title is enough for most streams. If you do know your five-digit NOC 2021 code, entering it helps match occupation-specific streams. Not sure? Add the NOC match check (CA$7.99) in the Work section and we'll find your code and confirm it matches your duties in the same report.
What's the difference between Express Entry and base PNP streams?
Express Entry-aligned streams nominate candidates who are already in the federal Express Entry pool and add 600 points to their score — a near-guaranteed invitation. Base streams let you apply to the province directly, without an Express Entry profile. This checker covers both and tells you which type each match is.
How accurate is the match?
Every stream is screened against the criteria published on the province's official program pages, curated by hand and dated so you know when it was last verified. It's a screening tool, not a guarantee — intake caps, draws and final officer discretion always apply.
What's in the CA$25 full report?
Every one of your matching streams, named and grouped by province; the criteria you meet and the exact ones you miss, stream by stream; what to change to unlock the streams you're close to; and direct links to each province's official application page.
Is this legal advice?
No. It's an eligibility screening tool based on published provincial criteria. Programs change frequently — always confirm the current requirements on the province's official page before you apply.
