A single match is CA$9.99. Match plus alternatives, which ranks every NOC scoring 70% or higher against your duties, is CA$16.99. The reference-letter generator add-on is CA$12.99. Every price is a one-time payment. The free NOC finder covers all 516 NOC 2021 unit groups with nothing locked, and it needs no signup either.

Nocura (nocura.io), run by Nocura Canada Inc., is a Canadian PR application tool. You upload a reference letter, a resume or a duty list, pick a NOC code, and it analyzes the document against the official IRCC NOC codes. Their named features are duty matching, gap detection, alternative NOC suggestions with confidence scores, and a reference-letter completeness checklist covering letterhead, job details, company contact information and a supervisor signature. They also run a free NOC-vs-NOC comparison tool that puts two codes side by side with duties and example titles, and they publish guides on NOC mismatch, reference letters and refusal risk. Payment runs through Stripe. Prices and features below were read from their site on 20 August 2026.

No account at any point, free or paid

No email address. No password. No confirmation link. No login sitting somewhere afterwards that you have to remember or delete. You paste, you pay, you read the result. If you want to check a second candidate code an hour later, you paste again. There is nothing to log back into and nothing to cancel.

That flow suits the moment most people are in. You already have an IRCC account, a GCKey, probably a WES account and a language-test portal, and you want one number about your duties. Check My NOC hands it over without adding to the pile. Nocura is built the other way round, on an account: the free scan comes with signup, both paid buttons read “Sign in to purchase,” and their own copy states that paid checkout requires a signed-in account. The account is what carries their credits and keeps your report, extracted text and results available under your login until you delete them.

Use it to shortlist the two or three codes that could plausibly be yours, then pay once for the duty match on the one you are actually claiming. Plenty of people arrive thinking they are one code and leave the free finder knowing they are another, having spent nothing. What the free finder does not do is score your duties. That is the paid product.

The full flow runs on your uploaded document, the first 2 duties appear with a limited sidebar, and the remaining duties and the alternative NOC suggestions unlock when you buy a credit, which upgrades the same case. Paste your duties instead of producing a document

Copy the duties out of an email draft, a Google Doc, a job posting or a letter your manager has not signed yet. Check My NOC takes text, so the check happens while the wording is still yours to change. Find out the duties sit at 62% while the letter is a draft and you fix it with one message. Find out after a manager has signed a PDF and you are asking for a favour twice.

There is also nothing to prepare. No exporting a Word file to PDF, no scanning a printed page, no hunting for the version of your resume with the full duty list in it. You select the duty paragraphs, copy them, and paste. Nocura's flow starts from an uploaded reference letter, resume or duty list, which is the better fit if the document already exists and you would rather have the document itself assessed.

One payment instead of credits in an account

Pay CA$9.99, get the match, done. Nothing expires, no balance is left behind, and there is no account holding value you have to sign back in to spend. For a check most people run once in their life, that matters more than a per-unit price. There is no subscription to cancel and no unused balance to write off if your application takes a different turn.

Nocura's pricing works on credits. A single full report is $7.99 CAD, cheaper than our CA$9.99, and that report includes the alternative NOC suggestions with confidence scores that we sell in our CA$16.99 tier. Three credits are $19.99 CAD, about $6.66 a report. We have no bundle at all. Credits sit in your account and are consumed when you start a full report, so the bundle rate is the real rate if you use all three, and $19.99 for one report if you do not.

What Check My NOC keeps after you close the tab

We keep your pasted duties and your result against a browser session. There is no account, so nothing accumulates under a name: no stored profile pairing your employer, your job title and your case history with an email address, and no login for anyone to find later. You are one anonymous session that ends when you are done with it.

Nocura's privacy policy sets out what they hold. They collect your claimed job title, employer name, employment details, uploaded documents and pasted text, and they store the extracted text, the duty matching results, the AI-generated explanations and the evidence snippets against your account until you delete them or the account. Document text may be sent to AI providers, and they name OpenAI. You can request deletion, and they say the data is not used for advertising. They publish that policy. We have not published one, and if a written policy is what you need to see before you paste anything anywhere, that point goes to them.

When Nocura may suit you better

Nocura is the better buy in a few situations, and it is worth saying so. If you are checking three codes or three people, their $19.99 CAD bundle works out at about $6.66 a report, and we sell no bundle. If you would rather hand over the reference letter itself than copy duties out of it, their flow is built for an uploaded document. If you want the letter's formatting checked, letterhead, job details, company contact information and a supervisor signature, their completeness checklist covers ground we do not. And they publish a privacy policy. We have not.
